...

Please leave a comment, even if you don't like something about it. That's how people like myself learn. Thanks.

5D + 15mm FE. Not many mm's cropped on the sides...basically FF.

Hm.love the colors, but I find that there just may be too much space on the darkest end..how about a crop?

Thanks flo...I thought about a tighter crop, but then, the dark cloud on the left was cut off. I think I wanted to show both 'sides' of the sky, and that's why I left it as it was. The frame...whatever...it's just a frame. When printed, it wouldn't be there.

Thanks for the comments, though. Oh, and check the flower thread. I added a shot in color.

A note on composition.

A while back, I had a conversation with a local newspaper editor. He bemoaned constantly getting submissions of sunsets. According to him, "One of those happens every day." He said that sunset shots needed something else of interest to make it compelling: a bird in flight, somebody fishing, a human silhouette.

Ok Man...clone in a bird in flight;)

I know Robert Lay says this as well.something else in the photo to give it perspective.

I agree joe, and wish I had someone at home. I would have made him/her stand out there, and then taken the shot. Maybe next time, I'll go buy some fireworks, and light those off (yes, they are legal to light off here, in FL). I think that might add a special touch...as long as I can get everything composed properly.

Thanks for the comments, though.

Ok, I'll take one from another shot, and paste it into this one.
