Very nice. Looks like an Arlen Ness Lowliner. Any ideas?

The first shot is amazing, really loving the second as well. Nice touch on the fourth, not many people tend to look at the belts on those. Interesting viewpoint.

Finally someone who worked with the light instead of having it work against them! Put a shot in here to wake some of these guys up! Pics of your motorbike

Good use of HDR, too. I'd have used ISO 400 so you could have used 1/50, & crop out the guy at the left. Maybe warm it up a little, too.

The first shot took a looooong time to load & I want to put a link to it in "Tips", so I'm attaching a smaller version of it here. too.

Wow! You got an "Excellent!" from Frank. ;)

That's awesome, and I can do nothing but totally agree with him.

Great work Derek.

Frank my XT doesnt like 400 ISO LOL noise starts to happen.

In my experience, the better the exposure, the better a high ISO shot looks. Usually the noise is most noticeable in the very dark areas, so it's easy to fix:
Some Volleyball Tournament Tests **56K Warning!**

Gavin shoots everything at high ISO & provides fun captions as well. The first & many other images are at ISO Speed Ratings = 1600! (Yeah, MK III) :p
The week's sporting events in images...

I also didnt want the crop to be tight

You'll also have to crop some if you make a "standard" 8X10" print, so it's usually a good idea to include some extra space, but for the web, I'd use a tighter crop to keep attention on the bike.

^cool cool usually when i have my tripod with me i tend to use the lowest iso cause i can just lower the shutter and get the same results without the noise, if i used a high iso when i took the 3rd pic of the under exposed shot to complete the hdr you wouldve seen noise lol

and i usually dont print any of my pics so i dont worry too much about that lol

I would, too. High ISO can be OK, but low is best.

I'd hang number 2 on my wall - great composition and visually stunning.
