I have just received my cactus trigger. It's a 4 channel version.
I used it on my sunpack 383.
It has not been moded.

I am just wondering how these units differ with the 16 channel version.
So far I know that the 16 channel uses 2AAs battery. This is a plus for me as I have lots of AAs batteries already.

I want to know about it's compatibility with other strobe.
I bought the 4 channel version because it's stated on their website that it's compatible with my sunpack.

Please keep your post short and just states their differences. Thanks.

Below is the link to the product itself.

The 16 channel version receiver use 2 AAA batteries. Beside that, the 16 ch one comes with 1/4-3/8 plug instead of hot shoe adapter.

My 16 ch trigger works well with the 383, 430, 580, and AB strobes.

Or it's a tottaly different brand?

16 channels means more photographer(16) can use the strobe set up. Each one using different channel. . . Right?

The one in your link looks like a new one coming out from different manufacture.

The GI 16 ch is this one..
