No idea. It was only POTN. Everything else was fine. It just told me server not available. I was getting the cold sweats.

I tried so many different ways... from different sites too (like the link from the TR site, or the link from the Smuggy group) nada.

So I did a random google search, tried a few links, no luck till this one.

yeah I wanna know that too...(aside from the fact that already Dan gave me an emphatic "NO")

I've gotten the emphatic "NO!" from Heather also...

But that little black one is so cute and his expression leads me to believe he's going to be full of spunk.

Back to Permie's Aunt issue, reminds me last year when we were taking the "formal" shots of the winning cows. We had the lights in the umbrella set up with optical slaves. Folks would come up behind us with their P&S and of course their flash set off ours. They kept trying to figure out what was wrong with their cameras because it blew out the pictures. We tried to explain it with each family...however, a few would get in and of course take their shot just as we were ready to shoot. We would have to wait a couple of seconds for the flashes to regenerate and of course reposition the cow or whistle at her to get her to perk up her ears.

Yeah - it's all the P&S people firing off my slaves that accelerated my move to an ST-E2. I keep a couple of digital-slaved Vivitars for backlights and to blow out their shots though, if they try shooting before I'm done :{)#

*random complaint*

It would be nice if event coordinators consulted with photographers regarding background crap and tacky orange fencing

They provide us with the munificent remuneration to cope with that stuff. Or something like that.

Great shots Terri! Got to like girls with chainsaws;) Okay so do the Japanese still have trees to cut or do we ship them lumber to practice on?

They use Dremel tools on Bonsai . . .

Woolburr wrote in post #5731998 (external link)
That or the fact I just now got caught up....hehehe

Some 400 or so posts ahead of me . . .

Glad to know you're still with us... (SEE CAT I DIDN'T USE AN EXCLAMATION MARK!)

I know!!!

Here's Momma
QUOTED IMAGE
She has a white spot that you can barely see right at the edge of the bowl in front of her...

I have professional liability insurance on my eyes so yes... yes I can ;)

Yeah that's a lie.... bold faced lie... I've been rolling my eyes for years and they've never rolled willy nilly in my head! SHEESH!:rolleyes:

Just wait - if you're lucky it's only your eyes that come loose. Worst case they unscrew the nut holding your head onto your neck, and THEN you're in trouble!

She did a wonderful job on processing on this one. I almost couldn't believe that it came out of my camera. She does all the processing for the client/job....

Can't make bricks without straw though. You had the shot. She just gussied it up some.

Don't use up all the exclamation points, Wool... Jennifer needs 'em...

Yeah. About that. Pekka's getting concerned about all the 0x21 characters getting used and is planning to put an 8-bang limit per post, same as with pictures.

Woolburr wrote in post #5736528 (external link)
I tried to be selective...so she has plenty to operate with.

This being my third session on several computers in the catch-up process (what a chatty bunch! Looks like Terri's going to grab Wool's title next year), I know I'm missing a bunch of stuff.

From memory:
Very sorry to hear Cara didn't make it, Cat.

Deb - BlackBerrys are only OK if you chose them; if someone gives it to you, it's not a gift. Just sayin'

ISTR something about Pete's Zoo shots too, but that was about 1000 posts ago.

Excuse my ignorance but what are 0X21 characters and why would they be a concern?

ASCII printable characters. Or, in this case, the exclamation points we were talking about because Jen tends to use 'em all up and the forum is running out. (In other words, we're just kidding...)

ASCII 0x21 or 0d33 character is (put Num lock on, hold down the "Alt" key and type 033 on your numerical key pad) "!" Had to use the hex code since I wanted to set a good example.

Yep. Also have a SteriPen and a Kataydin water filter, but according to the map the Post ran this morning, I'm not in the affected area (external link). I'm gonna keep treating the water for a while though.
