Now that I have the 40D in hand, does anyone have any thoughts on the use of dissimilar batteries in the BG-E2N grip? The included battery is a BP-511A rated at 1390 mAh and I have a Delikin e-film battery rated at 1400 mAh that I'd like to use.

The difference of 10 mAh's in the batteries won't cause too much trouble. There are, however, some theories that state that if you were to have those batteries operating in tandem in an area of magnetic confluence, it could result in the immediate meltdown of various glaciers found in Greenland, Antarctica and Wyoming. But, really, don't worry too much about it. There are only fifteen such magnetic confluences and two of them are found in the US; Mt. Washington in New Hampshire and in San Diego, CA.

Nothing of the sort, don't be silly. It just melts the glaciers. It also causes sharks to get pimples, but I didn't think that was too important to mention here.

NO! Not jalapeno peppers!

Hi Deb. :D

Sharks with pimples? You would think that those smaller fish that eat the scraps would clean up the pimples.
