you ever just crack up about things? There's a thread out there with Poughkeepsie in the title. Now I'm not in so remote a location that I've never heard of it before but I've NEVER seen it spelled out..and then it hit me...WHO WOULD NAME A TOWN THIS?? Literally, think about the name? I KNOW it's not pronounced like it's spelled but holy moo...it cracked me up...

I also realized just now that it's probably posts like that (among other things) that keep me at my level of "no respect" around here

I also just realized that Dan is in every shot of the father walking the bride down the aisle...

Photographs are records of life. Pity they don't make music when you put them in a record player. :p

Hi Becky... I couldn't find the story behind the photos of Curtis getting sworn in.. sans Jacket.

Sorry, Kody...busy afternoon. Curt has been appointed the County Treasurer.

Here is the article (external link).

Do you think he might be rough on them because he's left handed and wears the watch on his left wrist? The usual way is to wear a watch on the opposite wrist...

No, he hits it on things in passing, that sort of thing.

JWright wrote in post #5835877 (external link)
Deb, have you seen this (external link)? I have one and it really helps to hold a flower steady.

That is pretty cool.

theague wrote in post #5836839 (external link)
anyone in here buy from sigma4less.com? Thoughts on them? Are they selling USA vs Grey market lenses? Is there such a thing for SIGMA?

I think that is where Curt bought the 70-200 and the and the 2x TC. Why don't you PM him?

If you're talking about Little's wedding...uhm,he is suppose to be, just say'n...if you're not...well you're right, he isn't suppose to be in those shots.;) :D

Hello all, not caught up and not squished.

My oldest son Adam was seriously hurt in a logging accident this morning. He is being transported from Roseburg to Portland for surgery on a broken vertebra that if successful, he will be able to continue to walk.

I am completely devastated and trying to be strong for my strong boy. Any and all positive thoughts would be welcomed. I am reminding myself that he is a survivor and has overcome many challenges in his life and this is just one more to show how strong he is.

I will be traveling to be with him and his fiance and without a computer for I have no idea how long.

~Terri

Oh Terri, I'm so sorry to hear this. Know Adam, you, and your family are in our prayers and thoughts.

Cat/Permie - please keep us posted if/when you hear from Terri.

Thank you again, everyone, for the well wishes and the love.
I will be heading up tomorrow morning with hubby, sis and brother in law.
I did get to talk to Adam about half an hour ago, he has arrived at OSHU and is being evaluated (again) still no word on when the surgery will take place.
I will update through Cat/Lisa as I can.
Love you people. *hugs group tight*
