It's pronounced puh-kipsie (over here) but it LOOKS like it's pronounced poo-keepsie...and that's what cracked me up!

I think something warped your mind when you learned French. There ain't no poo in that name that I can see, no matter how I try to read it... ;)

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

Lisa, thanks for the Terri update. Continued prayers for them.

Jamie, more work = more $$, yes? ;) Look on the bright side.

Lisa, this is my piss poor attempt at your idea. I can't seem to get it to work at ALL. Ugh.

Well steve just quit. It is just me and Roger now. This means more days & hours.

Yep, you'll have 50% more sales, I see more camera gear in the future......

.....but, you won't have the time to use it. ;)

I just heard from Terri and am posting a pre-coffee, semi-coherent update. Adam made it through the 4 hr surgery and they are hopeful that he'll be able to regain full use of his legs again. Yesterday he could only wiggle his toes. They bolted him back together and (believe it or not) are starting PT today! Terri and Frank are driving up there today...so remember them for safe travels too. Anyway, I think that's all she said (I was up til 3:30 am last night and tried eversohard to be alert when she was talking to me:lol:).

Thanks for that update Lisa. Terri and family, I'm still pumping out the positive vibes your way. Give Adam my best.

Yeah, I'm pitiful. To make it up I will try really hard on the "too much fun" part.

I like it. I think it works. That is a weird shadow on her face though...but I wouldn't have noticed it if you hadn't point it out.

fwiw, it wasn't my idea (the letters thing). I saw it on a website and the photo/letters combination was SO perfect (I don't remember which website) so my goal is to finally have on that stuns me like that one did.

Yeah, I've been trying different ways of doing it since you posted yours. None of mine are working very well though.

I like that Cat. The only thing I would do different is to not have the lettering run off the right side of the page.

I'll see if Dan (he's the one that found that website) still remembers where it was. Maybe it'll inspire you.

In any case, I like your results.

Did you try the lettering on the diaginol and running off the edges and just a touch more transparent?
