Puddle ... What tablet do you own now? I'm thinking about upgrading my 4x5 to a bigger tablet.

It's a monster. The 9x12 Intuos 3... I'm pretty sure that's it. Very nice size, but it kills the space on your desk. It's very nice. Perfect for what I do with it.

GMAE all.

I'm a little irritable today. I'm getting braces put on on Tuesday. So yesterday I had to go to the ortho to get spacers put between my molars. UGGGGGH!! They are SO annoying and now my teeth ache. I can't eat anything hard because it hurts like hell. Just in time to make my weekend FUN and ENJOYABLE!

I am so sorry. I had braces twice and it is no fun. Swish with some warm saltwater and take some Motrin. That should help a lot. Also make sure you stick to a soft food diet. Warm soups should feel good to your teeth. Avoid anything that requires chewing for a few more days. I hate to tell you that the worse is yet to come. Once the braces get on though the only pain you really have is maybe 24 hours after your monthly adjustment. May I ask you why you are getting braces? The second time I had mine it was a prep for surgery. My first ortho messed my bite up so much in order to fix it to stop the TMJ pain I had to have my jaw broken in 4 places and reset. Not fun but it was the best thing I have ever done!

That's what I'd like to get, but desk space may be an issue with that size of tablet. I'm thinking the 6x8 might fit my desk better, but I worry that it may not seem much bigger. The 4x5 has been great for what I do with it, but it would be nice to have the extra area (and the precision that goes with it)

I never had braces. When I was a kid, it was an option as my teeth are a little crooked. The dentist told my dad who then replied, "Why? you planning a trip to the Bahamas?"

Yeah, he was a cynic. :D

I need braces because my teeth impact each other in the front. Instead of having an overbite they come down edge to edge. My main front biting teeth are chipped and messed up looking. I will look for a photo so you can see. lol So I need braces to correct the bite, then some cosmetic dentistry to make the appearance better. Should be good to go in about a year and a half. :) lol

The precision is the reason why I wanted to get a bigger tablet. The smaller ones wouldn't have worked at all, unfortunately.

I just want to get all of my teeth yanked out and have a set of dentures made. Seems like it would be cheaper in the long run...

If I ever have to get dentures, I'd like to have Wolfman fangs. Geez, that would be great.

Yeah, was on TPBM. The straight vertical drop caught my eye. I nearly lost my lunch just looking at the drop!

Yeah, it looks gruesome, doesn't it? It actually wasn't the worst coaster there (Sheikra), oh and there = Busch Gardens. The worst one was Montu, with about 7 inversions. I came off with a headache from that one, from my head banging off the safety harness thing. As for the one pictured. I didn't get a "fast" shot of the coaster as you see people dangling down there. Basically, your feet are loose and hanging down, when you go up the beginning, it is such a tight climb, that you're thinking "oh f***, what have i got myself into". Then after that, you go around the top and it looks like it is about to drop....and it stops....so you're at the front, and you're dangling down for about 5-10 seconds, then it just drops....hahaha, great fun, and there is a 2nd smaller vertical drop. Still bloody good fun. I some good shots of it on my external drive at home, I'll put some more on here for you to throw up your dinner later on.

Speaking of ....

I finally broke down and rocket-blew my 40D. Self cleaning my @$$. :)

Oh, My dad wants my old RebelXT, so he'll be getting that, soon.

Nice. I did my first wet clean on a 2 month old 40D, not scary at all, and in fact is better than what it was beforehand. Bloody stubborn sensor snot. I think I still have a rogue spec that wouldn't go away last time, so maybe this weekend I'll give it another clean and hope it all goes away.

I am half tempted (not in a S&M way mind you) to get my wisdom teeth removed...maybe a brace put on, but I doubt i need the latter. I just don't want all my teeth bunched up like a freak'o'nature...

Good idea! Maybe I need a few sets of dentures. Something for every occasion.

No, wait. Now it's getting expensive again. That's kinda defeating the purpose.

Well, not because of that, but because I kept running through the battle with the Scotland's flag....

Yep - gets all the blue-suiters confused. If you were getting shot at by the boys in butternut it was something you said . . .

Actually I quite enjoy coasters. The worst I had been on was one called Mr Freeze at 6 flags in Arlington. It's one of the ones that had a linear motor at the beginning to catapult the ride into action. It goes straight up a tower at the end, and eventually returns backwards to the beginning. It was a short ride, but very fast and extremely high acceleration. I wasn't feeling to good before I got on it, so I might have enjoyed it more had a felt better.

I won't tell you about my wisdom teeth extraction, then ...

Yes! I'd get different sets with different attributes: vampire, yokel, regular, perfect. Great fun!

What a coincidence. I just got the couch bug. In about a year's time, I'll be doing some serious sitting with the occasional eating. If I practice enough, make certain sacrifices, maybe employ a trainer/coach, I'll try for the Winter Olympics in 2012. Maybe do the Couch Pentathalon

-sitting
-remote surfing
-scarfing microwaved foods
-snoring
-reduced metabolism relay

thomascanty wrote in post #5892422 (external link)
I've had that bug for about three years now. I think it's time I joined Terri for a while.

Is there a burger eating competition? I'll do that!!

puddlepirate44 wrote in post #5892450 (external link)
Burgers and Beer Chugging are a part of the Couch Decathalon. That's just more of a serious training regimen that I want to take. Besides, if I start seriously training in Burgers and Beer, it might take the fun out of it. I'd hate to see that happen.

Is this a team sport? I'd like to join in...

I've used one of the original 4X5 Grafires for years. It has some issues and seems to be losing it's pressure sensitivity, but it's not abig deal. Ever since Lightroom came along, I've had less need for Photoshop and the tablet.

I was given an Intuos 9X12, one of the old serial connection ones. It needs a new cord and I could get it repaired for less than the cost of a new one but since I don't really need it I'm holding off. I'm going to see if the new version of Lightroom supports tablets, then I might get it fixed.
