Thanks Crissa. reneethomas wrote in post #5894957 My boys were sure upset that it was no longer in business. They wanted to try diesel fried chicken . We saw so many weird things in Texas. The trip home we had our vehicle torn a part by that damn border patrol (so much for protecting the borders!!) because the dog gave a false alert. We were stuck there for an hour while they searched and interrogated us. My boys were scared to death. Then when we crossed into NM we were not even 10 miles into the state and I see lights in my rear view mirror. I was like damn what did I do now? The Deputy did not see the temp tag in the window until after he pulled us over. Instead of saying sorry for the inconvenience and letting us go on our merry way he kept use there for 15 minutes asking where have you been, where are you going, who is the car registered to, etc. However he never asked to see my license or registration. I told Mike I felt like I was driving with a big sign that said hey we are bored, give us some excitement today by treating us like criminals. All the way the rest of the way home my boys kept saying "police keep stopping us because they think we are criminals". Oh btw the Dog that "alerted" the boarder patrol probably just wanted to much on a poopy diaper that I had just changed on the side of the road a few miles back. That sucks about the trip you had. Where did you go in Texas? reneethomas wrote in post #5894961 What a great shot! Thanks Renee. Robert | Gear |
