Might be an easy one, but I dont want to hold things up, and this is one that I had handy.

My first thought was that it was a Chrysler Ghia, but then I looked one up to refresh my memory and I'm way off. Still, is that a one-off designer body or regular production?

Not a one-off, but a very low number were produced. Some might call it a limited production.

1) Is it American?
2) Is from a defunct brand?

It was made by an American company.
It is a defunct brand.

It was produced by this American company in cooperation with another company.

Although it was produced in cooperation, it does not share the name of both companies, just the American company's name is used.

Thanks. I knew I'd seen the car so I started going through my pics, haha. Wow, it's a big car to be put on such a small frame (it's on a Hudson Jet chassis), plus it has an aluminum body! What a car! haha. No wonder only 24 were built.

Anyway...
