Looks like a newer take on the Wiesmann Roadster (although I know it isn't)

Wheels look like Hartge ones - so I'm guessing it's a BMW at heart with a bodyshell by someone like Rinspeed/Sbarro or one of the other small & obsuce european car makers...

I concur, that it does have some characteristics of a Z8, but that is not what it is... I too will be waiting to see what this mystery coupe is...
