Nice sharp shots Mark. Did you have to do any micro adjusting? Just got a shipping notice and mine will be here Friday.
Clay
Thanks Clay, no MA for this lens.

When I bag it, I have a tamrac expedition 7 that will hold it..I just have to leave some other stuff out. Not an easy bag to go day-trippin' with either. If I have this, I usually only 1 other lens and I'll use a runner's sling-bag or something to that effect....or just bring it by itself and sling the Sigma case around my shoulder. Thanks Kevin. I am looking for one to hold all of my gear for vacations or weekend trips. I will check out that Tamron bag. I am thinking a holster bag might be what i need for air shows and the zoo where I would be using this lens exclusively. Jeff

Luv the screen-name.....oh that it were true! Kevin

That's not a specific question or anything. Hopefully you'll run across someone who has both and can answer! Kevin

It doesn't give you room for anything else, so it's only good for transport. And, you may find it hard to get a body in there with a strap on it, I don't have straps on my bodies any more, and when I did I had to have the hood reversed to give enough room to get the strap inside. Looking at images of the Lens Changer, it looks like the Bigmos would fit no problem. I've found that anything a 100-400mm L would fit into, or what the 28-300mm L I had would fit into, the Bigmos would fit into just as well. The only thing that will give you a hassle is the tripod foot, I have to turn it to get it into the Digital Holster, and it might not make it a good fit in the Lens Changer. Thanks for the info Katodog. Yeah, looking at the dimensions, the lens itself seems like it would fit. The only question is, as you mentioned, will the tripod foot fit also. Oh well, I may give it a shot anyway ... its only money.

katodog Goldmember More info | Mar 22, 2010 15:35 | #1633 I'm not sure about the Lens Changer, never used one. But, the Digital holster is not round, it's kinda square, so turning the tripod foot to the side allows it to fit into one of the corners, and it'll all fit perfectly inside. I could only guess by looking at images that the Lens Changer would be good if you didn't have the tripod foot on.
