Wow, love the Hawk shots Dre. I had a great chance at a bald eagle the other day with mine and didn't realize until I got home that I kind of blew it. He was in a tree about twenty yards away and I was shooting at a pretty steep angle. The images came out way soft. When I recreated the situation I discovered I was getting lens creep. From now on there will be a rubber band on my lens barrel!

the only way i see lens creep factoring into an end result is that it won't be at the focal length you wanted...but the shots shouldn't be any softer due to that...when i use my lens, i'm grabbing the far point of the lens, to push/pull it in and out, so it doesn't have a chance to creep back, because that's where i'm holding it

I got the lens today, one question, when I press the shutter half way to focus the focus actually shifts about one dot/square. The image is perfect after I shoot. Is this normal for the OS?
