I also have this same lens. Your picture looks pretty good to me. Did you have the OS turned on to 1?

OS 2 is for panning shots.

Hi, Yes OS on but at 1000 shutter not sure it would make a lot of differance. Thankyou for the reply, Russ

Just showing this lens some love, whenever I think of chopping it in for the 150-600 this happens! It's a bit noisy as it was at ISO4000.
