Here's a pic i took the other day of my friends mustang. Just wanted to test out my new lighting setup. I think the pic still needs a bit of work, but let me know what you think. :)

Clone out the power line and crop the lower half of the picture, and it would look real cool.
The exposure looks good but, i dont know why the car looks plasticy. Too much PP?

Overall, it looks a little too dark & you have a halo over the mountains. HDR?

Clone out the power line...

Looks as if you tried to use the lines & flowers to lead the eye into the shot, which is a useful technique, except I'd rather not see the pole growing out of the fender?

where in BC are you?

Vancouver island for now, possibly Vancouver soon.

HDR?

nope, just minor lucisart usage, levels, dodge and burn, etc.

Looks as if you tried to use the lines & flowers to lead the eye into the shot, which is a useful technique, except I'd rather not see the pole growing out of the fender?

ya i'm not sure what i was trying to do with the powerlines, i never really payed attention to them too much until after i got home. I just wanted a half decent shot so we could stop blocking the road and move along :)

what did you do to make the sky/clouds look like that?

not sure, they either turned like that with lucisart, or with one of the blending modes i threw at it.

what lighting are you using?

Ranger RX powerpack. I used 1 head with a 39" softbox about 10ft or so away from the drivers side door. Had to use full power to make it work in this harsh light.

Good looking shot but too much PP for my taste.
