Hi,

Any suggestions for some easy to carry, light weight tripod?
I want to use with XTi, and some lens... nothing too heavy.
It should be stable and should need min investment. Dont want to spend too many $$.

Any help? Can i get them used? Is it recommended?

My travel tripod is a Sony VCT-R100
34.99 @ frys electrinocs.

It's so small it will fit in the hydration bladder pouch of my camelback. It's what I use when going to shoot fireworks from inside a baseball game. Haven
t been caught with it yet and it will hold my 30D + grip + 70-200 2.8

My tripod is pretty light and easy to carry. Ok its not the sturdiest but it was pretty cheap!
