I am going to finally buy a 1.4x for my 70-200 f4is and am almost certain on the kenko because of cost and IQ. I was looking at some info and found 2 models so just a quick question.

Does anyone know the difference between the

Teleplus Pro 300 1.4X Extender

and the

Teleplus Pro 300 1.4X DG Extender.

The DG is cheaper so just checking if it is an older model or what???

Thanks in advance and this forum has been a godsend so far.

Thanx

Go with the white "non-DG" model for your L lens. The color mates nicely with it. Optically they are identical. [Nothing wrong at all with the DG version; I have them both. But in terms of aesthetics, the white Kenko Pro non-DG just looks better with the white L.]
