Heres a few pictures i took at the races these were taken with my 18-125 Sigma ill post one i took of John Force with my bigma later

I can't put my finger on it but something about these pictures just doesn't sit with me. I dont think it is the monitor here at work because I use it all the time for this site.... The pics seem very dark and full of contrast... Nothing really pops out at me. ehhh... Could just be the monitor here but I dont know.

A couple of problems (other than the aforementioned contrast):
#1: No action and no real point to the picture to draw the viewer in.
#2: Very distracting foreground. Man on track, and you are literally eating the car's dust.
#3: The fact his hand is cropped out takes a lot away from what could be a great photo.

Thanks guys for the critiques ill make my adjustments and try to do better next time. the john force pic is an uncropped pic using a monopod must of just tilted lil bit to cut his fingers off. wish i had a pass and could of got down track side, wouldve had alot better angles and positions to choose from.
