Randy, the shots look good and #1 is my favorite. My only nitpick is a couple of them are flat. Open them up in PS and look the histogram, you'll see what I mean.

I usually don't edit peoples photos very often but here's my take on it.

I shot these in Jpg (I usually shoot raw) and processed them directly through Aperture. I did an auto levels on these but these do seem a bit flat...your example is a good one.

Thanks for the edit and the suggestion as I knew something was a miss..... Aperture has its flaws I think.

Those ball on bat shots are always fun to look at....just wish the helmet wasn't so much in the way!

Hey Randy,

Nice shots. Have you upgraded to Aperture 2.1 yet? I did a couple of months ago and really like some of the new things they have added. If you like the Aperture application I think you would enjoy the upgrade.

Have a good one.

Kevin

You are a bad bad man.

I would love the opportunity, though I may end up divorced because of it.

Me... "Honey, I need the MkIIn and the 400 2.8 IS"
Her.. "What you're gonna need is a good lawyer"

When did you say you're available?

#6 is my favorite by far. She has a look of absolute joy on her face and the bat and ball have enough blur to give a sense of motion without looking like you misjudged the shot. The bat-on-ball shots are fun, but I'd be more interested in the second after contact right before their initial step towards first base; if they've just crushed it over the infield, that is a near-priceless expression...

Why yes, I DO shoot people—and they pay me well for it.:D

Thanks Kevin...Yes, I switched to AP 2.1...which also required an OS upgrade to utilize the new RAW engine...what an expensive headache that was!

Funny...but that was my favorite of the set as well...but very few people saw it the way you and I did.

Funnier is most of the kids that saw this set liked that shot the best.....Parents picked the ball on bat ones....hummmm
