Tamrac Adventure 9 & 100-400L

Hi everybody,

I'm looking for a backpack for my camera, and I kinda like the Tamrac Adventure 9. But My main concern is that will it house a 100-400L? That's a pretty big concern too, since at the moment I don't have any other lenses (yet).

The idea with the backpack is that I could somehow strap my camera (20D) with that monster-of-a-lens to somewhere near it shoulderstraps. I have a op/tech pro loop starp, but is there any point to attach this in Adventure 9?

I'd appreciate any help I can get, wheter concerning this particular pack or any others. Only things I really need are: some place to put my 12.1" laptop, my 20D and 100-400L, couple more pouches/whatnot/ for other objectives I someday hope to get, some way to attach tripod to it and finaly, someway to get the weight of the camera + lens from my neck to my shoulders.

Hi Ilari,

i have an adventure 9 and canon 100-400 - the lens will fit into the bag, but NOT mounted on the camera (i have a 400D) - i'm looking at something else even though i do like the Adventure 9 - possibly might go for the adventure 10 but i haven't seen one yet abnd reviews are scarce.
