We had quite the thunderstorm last night and these poor little morning doves got blown out of their nest before they got their wings. If this little guy hadn't have moved, I would never have seen him.

You can just pop him back in BTW. We leave no scent on the babies that the parents can detect. Their sense of smell is the same or worse than ours.

Little guy lives 3/4 the way up a very tall pine. We were watching the parents take care of him. I hope he makes it.

THanx for the comments.. The little guy is up in the tree and flying, sort of. It's really windy today so he's mostly just hunkerin' down but definitely off the ground and testing out those little wings.
