I'm not sure how it all works, I know there's a school named Honeoye and then Honeoye-Falls Lima. How far apart they are, how close they are, if they're even in the same area I'm not sure.

Shot two championship games today and got plenty more jubilation shots...:)

It looks like Honeoye Falls - Lima is the closest to where we lived. I think I went to Manor Elem. Long time ago. Do you happen to have any shots of the downtown area near the falls? I would love to see what it looks like after 30 years have passed. The internet makes the world a very small place, LOL.

I'm not even sure I've ever been to HFL since high school, I THINK we played there in for football but since traveling I can't recall anything but that (and not even positive on that). This was a sectional game played at a site that both teams had to travel to.

Only one I had on Flickr that I could find. Sorry about the desaturated background...but if you remember winters there, then you it is dark and cold.
Honeoye is south of Canandaigua, the falls shown here are in Honeoye falls. Honeoye Falls-Lima is the team from here. Hope that clears things up.

That's the place, I need to get back up there and have a visit. Now that I think about it the baseball hall of fame is only a few hours away. Might as well hit both of them if I drive up that way.

Anyway, thanks for letting me slightly hijack the post. Great photos MJPhotos24, can't wait to see more.

Hey Mike - great series. As mentioned, your captions are a larf.

One of the athletes on the swim team I shoot for on this side of the ditch just got a full ride to Harvard -- just like your man in shot 2. These guys are doing it right...top notch education forthcoming on the back of something they love doing. Cheers.

Darcy, yea - getting a ride to play ball (if he is, hasn't been confirmed) or any sport while getting that kid of education has to be amazing. Football got me into college, sure wasn't my stellar grades...but it all works out.

Thanks Jeff...appreciate it.
