Thought I should put some up from Silverstone on Saturday aswell as the Masters thread. I was working for a few mags on this meeting so you'll see some shots in Autosport and Motorsport News if you look hard enough!

Paid for the petrol anyway. Just.

All taken with the trusty 30D and rapidly ailing 100-400 lens. Need a new one of them I think...

But before the photos a quick note. I don't like Silverstone and it's blody hard to take photos nicely there. There are about 4 places and that's it. And thats with being trackside.

1. The only easy way you can show that the circuit is Silverstone!

5. There are bits in both mags about this shunt between 2 Historics where one of them ended up at Chapel on the GP cicruit narrowly missing 2 school cars...

Ok thats it. Hopefully I've shown something of Silverstone with some variety. Comments welcomed as always.

Off to Le Mans now...

Thanks Paul. I'd hate to have to try from the Speccy areas up there. Everything is so bloody far away! Thank God I only go there once a year!

Last time I went there, and only time have been there, was on speccy side and it was foggy .
Woodcote seemed about 100yds from corner with runoff area.

Strangely shooting through fence did not appear to muck up photos too much.

Cant see me going back in hurry, because I just love getting up close and personal at rallies, bangers and hillclimbs.

These don't really do much for me Joffan,I am afraid, but look forward to seeing the Le Mans stuff.
