Can the tansmitter be connected to the PC terminal on the camera or does it have to be on the hot shoe?

I'm thinking about combining my speedlites with studio lights for more power and choice of modifiers.

As long as you have a PC cable for it, you can trigger your RF unit via the PC port of the camera without a problem.

Thank you. So I'll need a short male-male PC cord, am I right?

You'll need a male PC terminal on the end that's going to connect to the camera but I have no idea what the end for the RF unit is going to require. You'll need to check the manual or take a look at the transmitter unit itself to see what it needs.

Every radio slave set that I am aware of that has a sync port on the transmitter comes with a short cord to connect the transmitter sync to a female PC connector (like on many cameras and lenses with built in shutters).

Enjoy! Lon
