I am wondering what is the best settings to take pictures of a large water fountain (mid-day) using a Canon A720 IS
would there be a big difference between auto & manual?

If it's lit, I'd try some in the evening while there's still some light in the sky. no tri-pod Try to brace the cam on something. FrankC - 20D, RAW, Manual everything...
