I hate zombie this thread again but does anyone know what happened to Konova. Just as I was getting ready to order some octos they disappeared from ebay.

I own a rental studio and in the process of upgrading all the lights and boxes and I would have loved their boxs so I wouldnt care so much if my renters beat the hell out of them.

I saw they disappeared from Ebay myself. I purchased a 3'x6' white/silver reflector & stand from them in April. It lasted about 3 hours for me. The rods that hold the reflector were cheap cheap cheap wood and splintered down the sides within a few hours of use. I wrote them and they sent me what they said were better quality rods. I received the exact same rods with a rubber tip on them to help prevent splintering. Within minutes..they splintered. I wrote them again stating so. They said they would be manufacturing plastic rods and will send them out in a few weeks to me. I've checked back with them every couple of weeks during May and June receiving the same message...expect the rods in a week or two. July now..still no rods and now no Kovona. I've sent emails this week with no reply from them.

I chalk this one up as a $100 life lesson. My one and only experience with Konova has been a train wreck. Even if they are still in business, I'd never buy from them again.

And the stand for the reflector was very mediocre..at best.
