Random first shots with my new (used) XTI

So after trolling the forums, and watching the for sale area... I finally pulled the trigger on getting my first SLR.... Just thought I'd share a few random photo's I've taken around the house Of course I had to include the self portrait... kinda liked the grungy tone I attained. Can't wait to get out and about to get some real photo's

Sharpness looks nice but they're a bit too processed for me. Wrong forum BTW. These taken with the 18-55IS?

I like the PP and the shots. You have a good eye.

That self portrait has a cool look to it.

I like the processing personally. It's not something to do to every photo, but a few as the mood strikes you is cool. Nice shots and to repeat, nice eye.
