I find the first slightly cluttered, but the second is beautiful.

You did good keep shooting and dont be afraid to move outta the box with flower shots .I like the 2nd shot alot

You can never guess with preference, I like the 1st one a bit more for some reason. Thanks for the comments, I will keep background clutter in mind from now on!

Thanks. As part of a project I'm sort of 'documenting' the volunteer maintained gardens in one of Chicago's parks, as landscaping and gardening are a sort of on and off hobby of mine its been kind of fun (the rest of the pictures are pretty boring). Its also made me realize how much harder a lot of those flower shots are to get than they seem! Its rose time right now though, I'm waiting for a day that isn't a rainy mess, maybe I'll get something good out of those in the future.
