So I decided to get out of the house today and head downtown and see what I could come up with.

Good effort !!.. I like the color choice on the second image.
The first one is amazing, a great quality image. If it were me, I would have taken -or in a do over situation- one or two steps to the left, as their heads (bird and even more interesting man) would likely follow you. It would put the handler more in the background, which ends up being as interesting as the bird.
Thanks for sharing !!..

Getting out there is the hardest part. Once I did years ago, I was never able to go out without my camera.

Thanks!, the guy holding him was really cool, This bird did crazy tricks you would not think a bird could do.

i liked the un-cropped version of bird,,the way his claws wrapped around the guys fingers & he was a cool lookin dude...lol

Oddly enough, I heard that voice as I saw the photo for the first time.uncanny.:shock:

I love the first photo.no crop..it tells the story all by itself..wonderful!

These are two separate images, there was no crop. He just got curious and got a little closer.
