wheres the cheapest place to get a 1/8 mono cable to 1/8 mono cable to run my pocket wizards to my alien bees... and wheres the cheapest place to get a 1/8 mono cable to the vivitar 285 plug.

What im thinking is take the vivtar pc shoe end of the cable and plug it into a male to male pc shoe connector to connect the pocket wizard cable.. is there such a thing as a male to male pc shoe connector?

thanks,
JTP

I have been to his website.. and yes its a nice website indeed.. but i just cant see paying 14.00 for a one foot cable.. when i can buy a vivitar cable off ebay for 1.00 and then buy a .35 cent mono jack screw on cable top cut the end off.. solder it onto the cable and bam off to the races... however if there is an issue with doing this please let me know if voltage or anything.. then i will prolly wind up buying form him as everyone else wants 17 and up for their mono to vivitar cable

As always thanks for the heads up TMR :)

I understand where you're coming from but let me just say this. :)

There are some items that I think 'cheap' can come back and bite you in the arse. Personally, I wouldn't go cheap on cables.

Not just that, but you will end up paying $18 for a similar cable from B&H... you can't compare the eBay lottery to a reputable dealer! :)
