Pitstone Windmill is believed to date from 1627 which would make it the oldest in Britain. C&C welcome.

The compositions are nicely played, except for image 2 where there appears to be distortion caused by the angle of the shot but this may only be me.

What I really dislike about the images is the very obvious halos where PP has taken place especially in images 2 & 3.

With more careful post processing these would in my mind be keepers :D

Yes I did go a bit far with the PP. Personally I'm most pleased with the first one.

I like the last shot the best. For me it has more interest and is the best composition. I could certainly go along with a little brightening of those blossoms that are straight out in the middle ground.

Congratulations!

I too like the last one. Sort of Orton/HDR looking. The first one is interesting. I like the contrast.
Nice going!!

I really like the composition of the first two, very strong diagonal lines, but maybe in the 2nd one crop it a little bit so that the post doesnt flow out of the bottom right. Something is kind of distracting about it being directly on the corner.

How did you edit the first one? I love the b&w conversion...Almost has a metallic look...Was that done purposely? If so, tell me how please!

On all of them I used my trick of repeatedly applying the "clarify" effect in Paint Shop Pro (a sort of localised contrast enhancement). This brings out some detail in washed-out skies and gives an HDR-like feel. Overdoing it creates the halo effect chappie pointed out. It also introduces noise so I then use the noise removal tool and finally sharpen. It's all a bit crude really and I'm sure someone with better PP skills could make them pop and still look natural. Out of interest here's the first & last shots in their original form straight from camera if anyone wants to have a go:
