I read in other forums that the Profoto heads are nice. If you use PF packs then all the light modifiers will work for you.
It seems though if you are starting out most people leantowards the Elinchrom RX's. More bells and whistles for sure( 2-way Skyorts).

I ordered the Elinchrom 600/1200RX to-go setup tonight. Now I can get on with life and away from the computer this weekend!!
I also ordered aTronixXT to power them on location. I will report back next week.

Oops, I fixed it. 600/1200 set

I went with the Eli 600/1200 RX kit. I am powering them with a Tronix XT for portable power. Everything is going great so far. IZ got the skyports and they work so well. I can udj the output and modeling lights via the Skyport TX. I can also hook up the TX to my Sekonic L-358 via a 6" sync cord to wireless operate/meter lights.
