I went pretty cheap purchased some 16 Channel rf-616 ebay and they sold a hotshoe adapter for $5 that works for both my 550ex and 380ex. Also works for my studio strobes all for $48 shipped that was 1 transmitter 2 receivers 2 hot shoe adapters not bad at all...

Do you have a link to the hot shoe adapter you bought? I am looking for one for my 550EX. I bought the 16 channel Cactus trigger/receivers from GadgetInfinity and can't find a suitable hot shoe adapter for my 550Ex

Thanks!
