new guy

i just recently picked up a rebel xti and started messing around with it and found out that i really enjoyed taking pictures. so if you would please let me know how im doing and all C & C are welcome

Try posting fewer shots. Speaking for myself, I don't have a lot of time. When I see a post with the number of shots you have here, it's a little off-putting. To the point, the green bench could have been left out. The subject is not clear and the only part that's in focus is the right side of the bench.

i cut it back to 6 pictures

I like this set of pictures. I won't go into all of them, but I'll make a few comments.
#1,3, and 4 have interest, but are a little static, probably because they are split in the middle and could be helped with a different crop. Maybe even Panorama format.
#2 is very interesting, although the full beam light takes away from, what I believe is the main subject, the fountain. Maybe a vertical crop.
The last photo has a lot of human interest, suggest you level the horizon, cut off some of the un-interesting sky and crop off from the right.
And do it B&W.
