Did a mini meet up yesterday with 2 other POTNers yesterday in Portland.

This is what I came up with (all processing done in LR):

Nice shots! A little dark for my taste but I think that is the look you were going for. Nice work!

Where did you take the shots from? I am in the Portland area and am curious where the elevated shots are from. There has been a lot of construction in that area so I am thinking the bridge in your last shot is new and you took them from there.

Beautifully done... I especially like the first one in each post.

I love the processing, too... very nice.

Thanks everyone! I appreciate the feedback. I was going for a real dark feel here.

The footbridge in the last shot is where I took these from. It's a great vantage point. I hope to get over there again and spend some more time.

Great work #3 is my favorite here, don't care much for #4.

Lovely shots!!

What sort of processing is involved in these photos?

Also howd you get the clouds like that.. so dramatic and so alive.. if that makes sense..

Thanks so much. The processing was all done in Lightroom. I used a preset called "Gritty." I then made various adjustments from there. The clouds were dramatic that day with multiple layers. They took quite well to the adjustments and became very dramatic.

I am liking these photos a lot! I like how the textures are drawn out, and the angry skies are just so expressive. Thanks for sharing!
