Thanks! This couple was really awesome, and the wedding as a whole was spectacular, despite the insane heat & humidity. I had an absolute blast!

You lighting (especially indoors) is SUPERB! Looks like you had a bit of daylight to work with. You must have been able to balance any flash with the ambient daylight from the windows? Execellent work.

Thanks John. It was indeed brighter than average. Ambient closer to the windows was in the neighborhood of f/2.8, 1/125th, ISO1600. It was a relatively small room as well, so the light from both sides hit the middle decently enough that flash was more fill than anything. Stronger fill than you'd use outdoors, but it wasn't primary light as you'd usually use at the average indoor reception. I also decided not to expose for the outdoors but rather let the windows blow out for the most part to provide nice backlighting.

These pictures where obviously taken by a professional (I am referring to you). That is the highest complement I can give.

What makes photos even better is more time with the couple (yeah right), fantastic locations (yeah right), trained models for husband and wife (yeah right).

BAHAHAHA thanks PC. I appreciate that compliment very much. :) I did have a lot of time with them though as they so considerately scheduled all of the "formals" (I use that term very loosely) to happen before the ceremony...we had oodles of time but we still worked quickly to get a variety of shots and the couple was absolutely awesome.

This was pretty much a dream wedding for a photographer. :D

Thanks Sharon. :)

This is beautiful work. It all looks very natural, like everyone was working well with you. Great job!

My fav -- #5. I love the way the light picks up the veil without blowing him out.
