Went out today to do some test shots for other reasons (my UWA is giving me the s**ts). No PP, just from the camera.

4 is the issue. That's -3 EC and spot metered. I'm starting to think the 15-30 Sigma has communication issues as 2. is only -1 EC.

Interesting, as that imply it is not fully opening up for the metering, or stopping down to take the shot.

Photos are not bad.
What metering mode where you using? if it was spot, then highlights & shadows can change the exposure dramatically.

#2 looks pretty good.

That's -3 EC and spot metered.

Try manual in those tough conditions. First set the f-stop & shutter speed you need. Then adjust the ISO.
Need an exposure crutch?

This shows how the subject can affect the exposure & why manual keeps me worry free:

2 was taken with a fairly new 24-70 and 4 was taken with an older 15-30 Sigma. I think it's time for a UWAL and some less harsh light. I really do think the Siggy has sent my bodies to Coventry.
