nice photos, I used to have a '91 eclipse gst. too bad the bumper is blocked in the first pic, love the FMIC. also in the last photo maybe you could crop off the smoke stack. its hard to tell what the subject is. But great photos love um.

Where in Philly were these shots taken, my first thoughts were near either the 30th st. post office, or near the far parking of pen's campus. Eitherway I like all of the shots, the one with the skyline in the background is my favorite, the detail is real crisp.

they were taken in some pretty shady spots, no where near 30th street, more like 50th. the one with the skyline is the UPenn hospital parking garage.

I like em, but would love to see some with a slight background blur. or close up's of certain parts of the car.

Nice shots though.

Well with a F3.5 largest aperature i couldn't get much DOF. When I get my 50mm 1.8 i will have something to show.

when shoot cars, a looking up angle would be very appealing to viewers, also make cars look superior. Try get low on the ground next time if you don't mind get dirty ;)

I had a GSX once, and my friend had one also. Mine was a '90 his was a '97. Both cars were, absolutely, PHENOMENAL in wet weather. I could floor that car (and mine had a few simple modifications) and the tires wouldn't peel in the rain. I felt SO safe in that car. I really miss it.

The thing is, the build quality was junk. At around 90k it started falling apart; some computer thing that was to cost $1100, suspension work, tranny was weak, it was burning a bit of oil etc. THe car was only booked at $3000 I couldn't justify that much $ into it. The thing is, my buddy's '97 was the same way, and it was a new body style (the kind in this thread).

IMHO, mitsubishi makes crummy cars. Not just eclipses either.

Now I drive a Corvette, it gets awesome mileage and hsan't given me a single problem yet (65k miles). It's a '98. Best car I ever owned in many ways, gas mileage, handling, obviously accelaration. But... I suuuure wish it was AWD :)

Nice shots!

IMO, I'd keep the pillar in the first picture, but move slightly to the right to show the whole front bumper (as others have said as well)

Gives me ideas on how to shoot my (Dirty) STi :D

That FMIC looks real, never seen a fake one that big. Does seem plasticy though........Guess where the rice from my name comes from? haha

Nice shots, I am thinking of building a DSM rally car after I graduate. The placement of the car in the frames isnt all that flattering. Try turning the wheel so the tires aren't straight all the time. Especially in shots like #2

Cheers
