Yesterday my wife and I were looking at the Pacific Ocean from Manchester Beach State Park (CA) when we were surprised by two flocks of pelicans, flying low and slow. Really slow.

Used to be rare to see more than one - this encounter made our day!

The only lens I had at the time was the 18-55 IS, so no closeups. :confused:
