Very nice save. Too bad you can't see either of their faces, that would've added a lot to the shot.

2 things: First, as Kevin said, for this to work you really need to see a face. Second, watch your background. The cars are distracting.

It is funny so many people mention the cars in background and to watch your background.......this is often unavoidable. Many leagues limit access to a particular side as a fan...most do not let you on the same side as the players. I often shoot as our assistant coach which very much limits access. It is always worth a mention but most of the time is unavoidable.

I agree on the lack of faces...as for the cars...when you shoot youth soccer you will very rarely not have cars parked around the field....thanks for the input though.

Of course I understand that sometimes this is unavoidable. But, look around the field and see where there are trees or a flat background. Then position yourself somewhere along the sideline that you are allowed to use and/or behind the nets (I do this a lot) so that the background is in your frame and hopefully as far away as possible.
