Many leagues limit access to a particular side as a fan...most do not let you on the same side as the players. I often shoot as our assistant coach which very much limits access. But, look around the field and see where there are trees or a flat background. Then position yourself somewhere along the sideline that you are allowed to use and/or behind the nets (I do this a lot) so that the background is in your frame and hopefully as far away as possible.
