For i am very new to photography!
I am trying to practice my lighting and shooting techniques for small stuidio portraits before i invest 800 bucks into a nice strobe set...
My setup-
500watt work light
3x3 PVC Square with double backed sheet as a diffusion some what.

when i tried taking with this i used at 45 degree angle.
i got an orangish glow and it was real blurry PLEAASE HELP ME:mad:

The orange glow is probably a white balance issue. Try another wb setting like incandescent or tungsten (better) or a custom white balance (best).

The picture is probably blurry because you shot at a really slow shutter speed.

If you post a sample pic, you will get more educated feedback.
