"Vinyl" backdrops???

I see where a particular company has been promoting a white vinyl backdrop talking how much more durable it would be than paper and easily cleaned.

I've been wanting to add a white backdrop to my small, but growing collection and was about to purchase a roll of white paper until I saw this.

Any thoughts on going with vinyl...pro or con?

wouldnt the surface be way too reflective?

No sheen, the white makes for a VERY lovely high key with little power and offers almost no need for fill (depending on the size of the backdrop). Other colors have no sheen, they're very comparable to canvas, only much easier to clean, and a bit heavier.

They don't scratch all that easily, and creases easily fall out over a few hours. Just clean 'em with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.
