Hey, I just moved to Greensboro a couple months ago from Tampa, FL and am looking to see if there is a group already existing or anyone that would like to start one up if nothing is out there. Just meet ups to shoot, etc. Need to learn the area and find some good spots!

Chime in if you are interested!

I am also in the Greensboro area and interested in a photography group. I'd really like a group to go photographing downtown with because walking around alone there makes me a little nervous.

I will go ahead and throw out a couple suggestions of places to take photos in the area:

  • The Old Mill in Oak Ridge (a little west of Greensboro) is kind of neat
  • Elsewhere Artist Collaborative (external link), located on S. Elm St, lots of really interesting things on display(like super old toys, old broken instruments, etc), and they change it from time to time
  • Bog Garden and Bicentennial Garden
  • The NC Zoo is only about an hour away, in Asheboro.
