Show me your wedding, or indoor photography set up

yeah i tried using the 70-200 non is at a wedding, no way for me, i just sold the non is and im waiting on the is version, its a must for me at the long end with my hands

Yea. I do sports anyway. I was just wondering. I sometimes regret not getting the IS version but at the time I didn't have the cash. For what I do it isn't to important although the panning IS mode would be awesome to have. I'll upgrade in a few years.

I have used my 70-200/2.8 IS at nearly every event I've done. There was just that one party in a very small room...

A monopod would be a pain in the butt, but if you have non-IS give it a go. You'll soon give up and get the IS.
