Please excuse me if this is in the wrong section as i cldnt find a section to cover my query ....

Please cld someone adivse if it is possible to change or delete the info imbedded in a JPEG or similar file .

when i run my cursar over my JPEG it tells me the timeand date i took the picture - is it possible to chanve this information or not allow people to see the time and date i took the photo .

i have photo shop if it is possible to use this to facilitate my aim ....

If you do "Save for Web", it'll remove all EXIF data. Why are you afraid to let people know when you took a picture? Most people want to have it included as protection against theft of their images.

hey thanks for the advise - i want to change the date coz when i first got my camera i set the date wrong ( one day out) - i want to enter a photo competition and all the pics have to b taken on a certain date , mine shows the wrong date ....
