Not sure where this should belong, but I am looking for HELP on this situation.

I want to make my own "google street view"

I know they use a 360 camera but they use DIGITAL STILLS from the camera.

I know you can use quick time to make those 360 views.

What I want to do is create an interactive "street view"

similar how those action adventure games are.

but of pictures I take. So lets say I go to the grocery store. Every x feet I take a picture on the same horiztonal axis in a 15 degree turn, and then up at a 15 degree and then down at 15 degrees (made up numbers) so now I can "walk" through the grocery store and "look" around up down around front back, and I can "walk" through this store any way I want to.

Can anyone guide me in the direction to get this started? (besides obvious TRIPOD CAMERA)

I would guess you need to look at making your own Quicktime VR movies:

It has the ability to let you control your way through a sequence of panoramic photos. Using PhotoStitch you can make a single QTVR panorama, but I dont believe it lets you 'move' forward. You will probably need a different set of software to achieve that (I have not played around with these enough so cannot suggest which you need)
