I have been looking for a light tripod. I would like to invest on a CF but at the moment the funds aren't there and my trip is in a week. I have read some good reviews about the Sprint Pro and also recommended by Scott Kelby but I love the portability of the Sprint Mini.

One of the things that I read on Adorama regarding the Sprint Pro is that it is very unstable when it is fully extended. That it is better when it is not fully extended. So this reviewer said that it would of been better to stick to the Mini for portability and a little more stable.

Can anybody with either tripod share their comments and/or experience?

Thanks.

The main equipment that I will be using on this tripod will be a 30D w/ a Tokina 12-24 f/4 attached to it. And, maybe a Cokin P filter.
