softbox for full length fashion photos

Going to be shooting NUMEROUS product shots of models wearing outfits for clothing website.
Building up my studio kit right now...in regards to softbox what would be ideal?-I will be mounting them to 2 strobes....should I go one umbrella, one softbox? 2 softboxes? if so which softboxes, one of the long skinny ones (striplights), X large one (40x70 etc...)??

What would be ideal for my full length model shots?

I actually have 2 alienbees that I "think" I will use to highlight my background white. I have on order some profoto acute lights--so 2 more lights coming.
So with that in mind, does that change your thinking on what you said....I am thinking the 2 bees highlighting the back white paper, the 2 profotos as my key and fill...

Well, you need to watch out for color temp differences between the brands of light. You can have a difference of several hundred degrees among lights at different power levels in the SAME brand. Different brands can vary even more.

If you have two markedly different temps lighting your shot you might not be able to get an accurate WB, even with a custom setting. Especially if the lights are not mixing but are lighting different portions of the set. See below for some real-world measures of different brands and note that things change. Bulbs differ, softboxes and umbrellas affect color temp, etc.

but excellent points...I am not ruling out selling the bees, I can get almost what I paid for them in a hearbeat, then just nut up to 2 more acutes???
I assume someone makes a color temp guage/meter eh?

Should I be changing the temp setting in the menu when I am taking shots under different light (without the flash)?
