They don't list the speedlite 430EX as a Compatible model for the wireless Cactus trigger, the 420EX is though..

If you have the cash..go for the IS version! I sometimes wish I had IS on mine, but on the other hand I'm a student (saved a lot by buying an used non-IS model) and mainly use it for sports (IS is barely used for this purpose).
